Every payment on Dot Marketplace is locked in escrow first. The seller delivers, you inspect, and only your confirmation releases the funds. If something goes wrong, an arbiter reviews the evidence from both sides.

1Pay into escrowThe buyer pays exactly the listed price. Funds are locked by Dot Marketplace — never sent to the seller.
2Seller deliversDelivery happens inside the deal chat: credentials, files, transfers — everything on the record.
3Inspection windowBoth sides agree a window to verify the goods. We only escrow what a buyer can genuinely inspect.
4Release or arbitrateConfirm delivery and the payout releases. A dispute freezes everything until the arbiter decides.
